Print Legend supplies original ink cartridges for HP, Canon and Epson printers across Madurai, Tamil Nadu & India. That includes HP 678, 680, 682, 46 and 47, Canon PG-47, CL-57, PG-745 and CL-746, and Epson T372. Every cartridge is sourced from authorised distributors and arrives in sealed original manufacturer packaging.
Ink cartridge numbers look almost identical but are not interchangeable. HP 678, 680 and 682 are similar-looking cartridges, each made for different DeskJet Ink Advantage printers. For example, the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2336 takes the 682, not the 678. Canon PG-47 and CL-57 fit PIXMA E-series printers, while PG-745 and CL-746 fit PIXMA MG, TS and iP models. The wrong cartridge either won’t fit or won’t be recognised by your printer, so you lose the money and the printer stays idle. This is the one thing we won’t let happen to you.
Not sure which number you need? Check the cartridge you’re replacing, or the label inside your printer’s cartridge door. HP printers sold in different countries can take different cartridge numbers, so always go by the number your printer lists.

WhatsApp us your model number and we’ll confirm the right cartridge before you order.
Refilled and unbranded ink cartridges are easy to find in Madurai, and they cost less upfront. In a cartridge printer the print head is built into the cartridge, so what’s inside decides how well your printer performs. Here is how original cartridges compare.
| Feature | Original Cartridges | Unbranded Cartridges |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Ink & Print Head Match | ✓Ink and print head made by the printer maker for your exact model | ✕Ink formulation unknown; worn print heads are often reused |
| 2 Printer Recognition | ✓Designed to be recognised by your printer, with no error messages | ✕More likely to trigger “incompatible cartridge” or ink-level errors |
| 3 Print Quality | ✓Consistent colour and sharp text, cartridge after cartridge | ✕Quality varies between batches; faded or streaky output is common |
| 4 Page Yield | ✓Yield rated by the manufacturer’s own testing | ✕Yield is unpredictable, so you can’t plan your supply |
| 5 Source & Traceability | ✓Sealed original packaging from authorised distributors | ✕Source is often unclear, with little support if it fails |
Check the number printed on the cartridge you’re replacing, or the label inside your printer’s cartridge door. If you can’t read it, send us your printer’s model number on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm the exact cartridge. HP printers sold in different countries can take different cartridge numbers. Always go by the number your own printer lists, not what an overseas listing says.
No. HP 678, 680 and 682 look similar but are made for different DeskJet Ink Advantage printers, and the printer will not accept the wrong one. For example, the DeskJet Ink Advantage 2336 uses the HP 682, while the 2135 uses the HP 680. Check your printer model in the table above, or message us and we’ll match it for you.
Original cartridges cost more per piece, but in HP and Canon cartridge printers the print head is part of the cartridge. Ink of unknown quality can mean faded prints, error messages and cartridges you have to replace sooner. For offices and businesses that print regularly, original cartridges give predictable results with less hassle.
First confirm the cartridge number matches the one listed for your printer, because a near-identical number is the most common cause. Then remove the cartridge, take off any protective tape, and reseat it firmly until it clicks. If the error continues, WhatsApp us your printer model and the cartridge number and we’ll help you work out the cause.
